Before we dismiss the massive, networked course...#change11
onewheeljoe, learn, teach, repeat
During Friday's live session for the Change11 MOOC, Valerie Irvine and Jillianne Code questioned the importance of the recent popularity of Stanford's online course that registered more than 58,000 participants. We know from experience that larger courses mean less contact with .... [Link]

This is a continuation of my previous post (Part 2). Pedagogy 2.0 This paper provides a useful critique on Pedagogy 2.0. Owen however paints a critical picture of Pedagogy 2.0. He says: “Pedagogy 2.0 is clearly in crisis. The task now before … Continue reading → [Link]

Well, I'm really stretching my atrophied creative muscles this week by signing up for the #ds106 digital storytelling mooc. I figure it will be a great compliment to what I am learning from the #change11 crowd, some of whom are/were in ds106 as well. Yesterday’s Daily Create assignment was so procative, hilarious and heart-breaking. The new angles at which [...] [Link]

I'm just a tutor in a Bachelor's Degree (for new teachers).Only this!At the University there are the main teachers. In my group we are 14 students and 02 tutors online and 01 presence tutor. We talked and diverge. I like the autonomy of students, but perhaps the present tutor (1 X week) enjoy the old methods. This image I reflected in early 2010 and I need agree that shortage of new topics. This year, after the MOOCA CCK11 and other readings, I implemented a blog for my students.I .... [Link]
