How to teach as Nancy White?
Lone Guldbrandt Tønnesen, LearningWeb
I just viewed the recordings of Nancy White from #Change11 again. This time I was impressed how she managed through questions to make us make deep reflections about changing our teaching. She was using visual methods, feeling and art too, and she did only tell few points her selves. We figured her major points our our selves. How did she do it? 1. Connecting: She makes us fell being together about this by asking us to sit in a chair in a circle. Is it important to view others in front of you .... Online participation experiences with MOOC #change11
jacqui, jacqui connected
I had my first opportunity to participate with the MOOC # change 11 on-line, in a live discussion, thanks to a Perth based Murdoch university guest speaker Jan Herrington, the start time was suitable for Australian based participants! The ICT was painless via Blackboard and the quality of the connection was good for the hour long discussion - some lag on audio and video but chatting via the keyboard with other participants was instant. I did find the keyboarding chat very open, broad .... [Link] 2011-12-19T15:16:00.000+08:00 [Comment]

Applying authentic learning in my teaching
jupidu, ZML Didaktik / Innovative Learning Scenarios
As I’m asking myself if I use the authentic learning approach I’m checking my work with my master students of „Social Work“. Where is the money? #change11
jaapsoft2, connectiv
In science one question seldom is heard: “Where is the money?” The philosopher Spinoza did refuse an official university job in Heidelberg, because he wanted to be independent. Some say Hegel was a Prussian court philosopher and his philosophy was influenced by Prussian politics. “Wiens brood men eet diens woord men spreekt”, “Whose bread one [...] [Link] Sun, 18 Dec 2011 09:49:49 +0000 [Comment]

#change11 Network thinking…
Lars Was, Lars Was
I came across this blogpost today, written by Harold Jarche and mentioned by Wilfred Rubens. He explains a summary by Curtis Ogden of the differences between network-centric and hierarchy-centric thinking, called “Network Thinking”. Based upon 5 ideas, this theory is a refreshing view on how we should organize: Adaptability instead of control Emergence instead of predictability Resilience and redundancy [...] [Link] Sat, 17 Dec 2011 13:52:51 +0000 [Comment]
